About a week and a half before the big game, Matt and I received an email from Javier Ceja. Javier is a friend of ours that we met through Matt and Maria Remus. Javier explained that he was really interested in coming to Miami to be a part of the action, and was wondering if he could stay with us, and bring 3 friends of his. Of course we said yes, so Javier, his cousin Delia, Joe and Joe's girlfriend Kristy made the trip down from Chicago to cheer on the Bears. They were out to have nothing but good times, so this meant an all out party weekend! My birthday was Friday so we celebrated with one too many drinks at an outside bar on the water. I paid for this on Saturday, so I had to stay in, but the clan went to Bouganvillias and then Sunday we went to the Sandbar to watch the game. The Bears lost, so they were a little upset. They left on Monday, but it was a fun weekend filled with lots of sports and high energy.
