I labored on Labor Day this year. But as many of you know already, the kind of work that is involved in my business is nothing but fun! I spent a half day on the computer researching and networking, and then the rest of the day was spent on the boat relaxing and soaking in all the beauty of the lake we live on! Matt was in Traverse City this year visiting his sis, she is moving the end of this month to Pittsburgh where her fiance lives, Matt wanted to get in some one-on-one time with her before she leaves.
This past weekend I hosted a baby shower for Mary Lewis (Glen's wife), they are having a baby girl in October. Mary's favorite color is black, so the baby's room is black and hot pink. Can you guess what color clothing the baby will be wearing? That's right, black. Mary received 5 black onesies that said (my little black dress), other onesies with tiny skulls and crossbones, and then clothes with spiders and angel wings. Now, I know what you are thinking, we've got a little Goth baby on our hands, but actually, all of the clothes were extremely cute and tasteful, and once you mix the pink in there, she will be adorable! We ate yummy food, played one game, and then opened all the wonderful presents from friends and family.
Matt and I crashed on the couch after cleaning up, and watched "The Bank Job." We haven't seen too many movies this year, I can count on one hand actually. I was not impressed with the movie, a little too blood and guts for me.
Here are a few pics of the past two weekends.
