Thanks to everyone who made our trip home for Matt and Remus's 30th birthday possible. It was such a generous and amazing gift that we will cherish for years to come. Flying into Detroit late on the 17th and then flying back to Miami Sunday afternoon made the weekend go by in a flash, but it was so worth it. And the theme of the party was just that, a flashback to the 1980s, mullets, peg-pants, legwarmers, and side ponytails were all the rage. We even had some weight-lifters, raquetball players, and Crockett from Miami Vice show up to wish Remus and Upton a happy 30th birthday, and the best part of the night, was the DJ blasting tunes from that decade-need I say more? But, what made the day complete was being able to spend Matt's special day with all of you. Thanks again to those people who brought us home.

Hey kate, i will send you the cds from vacation and matts birthday party, mom gave them to me so i will send them to you so that you can have them and print off them if you want actual pictures. i had saved them on my computer and on my snapfish site. Perry and I had a great time at the 30th B-Day bash.. I wanted to let you guys know that Uncle P played with his old band last weekend and is playing this weekend also. Lots of your friends showed up.. It was a good time, we celebrated Keiths B-Day on Saturday night. Your family couldn't make it, because it was the Myers weekend get together. You two were missed,but not far from our thoughts, and always in our hearts!!! Love Ya and Miss You Lots!
