So we finally got to see the Spitzley Family, and how cute is their world? Busy for sure, but what a joy, and how perfect they are at bedtime. Britta hooked me up with all the gossip that I need to know for the next couple of months, as well as a baby naming book, a baby bedtime book, prenatal pills, and Palmer's body butter, it's like frosting for your skin! I forgot my camera, otherwise I would have taken some pics of the sweeties. My nephew Rob turned 13, and we headed over to GR on Saturday, visited with family, ate some yummy food, and watched some movies, Susan pulled out her mobile ultrasound machine, and we had a little sonogram session. Even though it wasn't as high-tech as the human machines, it was still pretty cool, and the "pea pod" was entertaining us all. Pea pod is the new name that Matt has decided to call baby. On the way home we stopped by the Nuthouse in Lansing for a quick hello and appetizer for Chuck Reck's birthday. His sister Karen is expecting the end of August so we chatted a little bit about heartbeat rates, and what have you. Matt and I are convinced we are having a boy.
Pregnancy this week has been fine actually. The belly thing is definitely becoming more normal, and a part of every day life. the belly is fitting into my wardrobe nicely, I've been thinking of it as a sort of accessory. It's kind of cute. I have started my pre-natal yoga, FINALLY! It's a bit on the wussy side, but I bet I won't be saying that at the end of my second trimester.
Please check out the Edin Family blog, under blogging friends. They had their baby on Sunday, and her encounter of the labor and delivery is really something.
