What is she wearing?

So this week has been filled with vendor meetings for ele3, and I can only wear a few different pairs of jeans that were donated to me by my friend Cynthia, but as we all learned in college, jeans aren't appropriate for professional meetings, but I showed up in them anyway, tried to be as cute as possible with riding boots, and lots of big bold jewelry, although cute for a casual outing, not so cute for that big fancy church we toured. I finally sucked it up, went outside of my "green" world I'm trying to live in, and bought real designer maternity clothes straight from the rack. I feel guilty because I spent money, and guilty because what I did is so not eco-friendly, but you know what? I feel fabulous, and I love the look, and now I don't have to wonder anymore if the vendor I meet with says to her/himself "what is she wearing?"

If you look good, you feel good right? That is a pregnancy rite of passage...you can't live in jeans for nine months!!! Especially in July. Glad you did it!

I agree. It's important that you feel good about yourself...especially when pregnant! :) Although I'm sure you looked fabulous and stylin' in the jeans, too! You're always so fashionable! Love ya!

Kate... being green is great, but not always practical... there's some give and take and h**l, if you feel better in your new clothes, whose to say you're wrong!? You look great and feel great and that will bring you more success - more success to live life the way you want to ;)

Being "green" is great- but "buying" right now is better for the economy- every little thing we purchase helps support many jobs local and international- that's how I am seeing it these days! you can easily justify the "green" by dontating or saving the clothes when you are done with them. Motherhood Maternity has great clothes too- it's cheaper than Pea in a Pod. I can't imagine you not looking good in anything!
